Two isotopically labeled internal std. solns. suitable for use in chromatog. anal. for PAH in complex mixts. were prepd. DPAC-1, contg. 21 compds., is intended principally for use in methods which employ the mass spectrometer as detector. DPAC-2 is intended for the special case of the HPLC-fluorescence technique, where the excitation/emission pairs are time programmed to give the necessary degree of compd. selectivity during the run.
