Résumé | Analyzing fMR images using data-dr iven, bias- an d mod el- f ree ex ploratory data analysis method s, such as the Fuz zy Cluster ing algor ithmi has be come e ssential for the incre asingly complex ex per imental designs that are devised to p ro be brain function. All such meth ods have to deal with the low level of a ctivation ab ove the restin g state, the low SNR, and most impor tantly, with the fact that only a rather small f raction of the total n umber of voxels are a ctivated by most stimuli. The followin g preselection method is one of severalii that we have devised to exclu de “u ninterestin g” vox el time-courses (TCs) and focus only on the potentially interesting on e s before carrying out a Fuz zy Cluster ing An alysis (FCA). |
