| Résumé | Preparation and certification of a new, nondefatted biological reference material (RM) for trace metals is reported. LUTS-1 is a homogeneous slurry of lobster hepatopancreas containing 85% (w/w) moisture and 8.2% (w/w) lipids (55% dry weight basis). This RM should prove of considerable use in validating analytical procedures involving faunal field samples containing significant lipid content. |
