An investigation of the resistance, self-propulsion and seakeeping characteristics of two 65' fishing vessels

Résumé
A series of 1:8 scale model tests were conducted on two (2) typical 65-foot fishing vessels, one round bilge and one hard-chine design, but with the same displacement. Tests included hull resistance, self-propulsion, wake survey and seakeeping in both regular and irregular sea-ways. Detailed results are presented for both.
