CFD simulations to investigate the use of artificial baffles to simulate "Real" wave dampers

Résumé
To assist in the numerical simulation of wave heights under the influence of wave dampers, a number of numerical simulations were conducted to ensure that a perforated plate wave damping system could be successfully simulated by a computationally less demanding artificial baffle. This report describes the numerical simulations that were conducted, as well as, the results from these simualtions and their effect on the wave damping simulations.
