| Résumé | A method is presented for the determination of the area distribution around a hot gas volute, taking into account wall friction, a free vortex flow pattern and compressibility of the gas.
It is concluded that rig tests on a model volute are required to complement such an analysis to determine the deviation between predicted and actual gas flow conditions. |
