Abstract | An orthomode transducer (OMT) is important to separate the incoming signal into two linear polarizations. Using a turnstile junction, good input match, high isolation, and low cross-polarization can be achieved over a wide bandwidth. We report on a design covering 70-116 GHz that is directly machined from aluminum. |
