| Abstract | Three fire protection engineering firms were commissioned by the National Research Council (NRC) to conduct three tasks related to the spatial separation and exposure protection provisions in the National Building Code of Canada (NBC). This work was conducted as part of the "Construction Sector Digitalization and Productivity Challenge program", an initiative aimed at transitioning the National Building Code of Canada (NBC/NBCC) towards performance-based compliance options to foster innovation and productivity. |
