| Abstract | Ship/model correlation is determined for the CCGS Louis St. Laurent for two full-scale trials, Pond Inlet 1970 and Strathcona Sound 1979. In one case model tests over-predict ship resistance by 30% and in the other under-predict by 30-40%. This large discrepancy in result has been attributed to differences in the hull condition in full-scale. |
