Abstract | This document has been created to guide NRC staff through the process of setting up a development PC and then using the development PC to build, execute and debug loads on a target. At the time of this writing, only the VMIVME-7700 target board is supported. All of the software, documentation and scripts required for the development PC and for the target have been stored on an ftp site. The objectives of providing this ftp site together with this document are:1. to create a single location for all of the necessary software; 2. to provide the instructions to setup a consistent development environment; 3. to provide the instructions to setup and use both the development PC and the target hardware. All of the software and software documentation has been stored on the Akamina Technologies ftp server. Access to this site is restricted to NRC staff. The ftp site can be accessed at ftp://www.akamina.com. The userid and password have been provided in a separate email. We have found that using the command-line ftp is more effective than attempting to use Mozilla. |
