| Abstract | We study the effects of macroscopic carrier density on intersubband transitions in a modulation-doped quantum well with two electronic subbands coupled by an intense ac electric field.We propose an ansatz wave function consistent with the Hartree-Fock approximation, and we use it to derive and analyze the effective nonlinear Bloch equations. |
