Abstract | This document describes procedures for determining the complex modulus and phase angle of compacted asphalt concrete samples over a range of pavement temperatures and loading frequencies. Also included is a procedure for determining parameters of the Huet-Sayegh model used in NRC's analytical model for analysis and design of flexible pavements. This procedure is applicable to laboratory-prepared specimens of mixtures with nominal maximum size aggregate less than or equal to 19 mm (0.75 in). |
