| Abstract | A CFD study has been carried out to assess the sting mounting effect for the 1/16th scale model of the aurora aircraft. Two sting geometries at three angles of attack are studies. These studies indicate that sting geometry close to the fuselage does have a significant effect on the pressure distribution and that this effect is largely attributable to blockage caused by the sting. |
