| Abstract | The structure of the Hilbert–Fock space of electronic configurations determines the properties of atoms, molecules, and solids. A nontrivial example of such a structure at the single-particle level is described by Anderson–Fano resonances of localized states coupled to a continuum. Here we describe Anderson–Fano resonances in the Fock space of electronic configurations which can be realized by adding electrons to two-dimensional materials in a strong magnetic field. The resonances manifest themselves as a splitting of spectral functions in two maxima separated by the continuum of spin excitations. |
