| Abstract | This note consists of a survey of the techniques of high speed photography, with special reference to combustion phenomena. Useful camera speeds may be increased three or four times by artificially increasing the flame luminosity through the introduction of sodium; to achieve still higher rates, schlleren or shadow photography should be used. |
