| Abstract | This document outlines the design work completed as modifications to one of the new QuickSet Hercules tripods and tripod heads purchased by the Institute for Ocean Technology. These modifications will be implemented as part of the readiness design modifications in preparing one of the tripods for the IOT Ice Detection project 42_2096_10.The design work consists of attaching two potentiometers to the pan and tilt axes of the tripod so that pan and tilt angles may be measured. |
