Abstract
Decorative concrete "cast" stones, extensively used in Canadian building in the first few decades of this century, included "Roman Stone", manufactured by a Toronto firm that used a process of casting the concrete in sand moulds. The method of manufacture is described and many examples are given of the use of this artificial stone.
