Abstract | Direct and fast detection of trace selenium in water, without any form of pre-concentration, is demonstrated. Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy and laser-ablation-assisted laser-induced fluorescence are used, achieving limits-of-detection down to 56 ppm and 315 ppb, respectively. |
