Abstract	It is generally believed that aging is associated with a progressive decrease in local heat loss responses of sweating and skin blood flow. However, it is unknown if these decrements affect whole-body heat loss during physical activity in the heat. We evaluated potential agerelated differences in whole-body heat loss, and therefore the amount of heat stored in the body, during challenges to human heat balance associated with physical activity performed in the heat
