Abstract
Addresses uniaxial compression testing of ice. Facilities available at the Institute for Marine Dynamics are presented. The report focuses also on experimental procedures, including making isotropic granular ice, stress and strain measurements, video monitoring of the tests, analysis of ice structure after testing, etc.
