Abstract
The infrared frequencies of 26 transitions in the ν2 bands of ¹⁴NH₃ and ¹⁵NH₃ have been measured by a combination of saturation spectroscopy and heterodyne techniques. The measurements are accurate to 0.5 MHz (~10⁻⁵ cm⁻¹) and provide secondary calibration standards in the 9–13-μm region. Newly developed cw NH₃ lasers are used to perform the majority of the measurements.
