| Abstract | The paper describes and discusses the results of preliminary calibrations completed on the wavemaker system in the Offshore Engineering Basin. Calibrations were carried out in regular and irregular uni-directional waves. Multi-directional spectra were also generated using side wall reflection. Pre-calibrated active wave absorption was investigated for regular waves. In general, good performance was found for all wave generation techniques used. Active wave absorption was found to be limited in its application. |
