| Abstract | A series of manoeuvring tests were conducted on a scale model of the bulk carrier FEDERAL HUNTER. The tests simulated transit of the vessel through a dredged river drained with sharp bends and strong currents. This paper gives a description of the test programme, choice of variables, the data recorder and the resultant analysis. |
