| Abstract | The role of the operator in a computer-controlled telescope system for the Algonquin Radio Observatory is considered to determine the best means of communications between man and computer. Various alternatives are outlined and a structure for a command language is detailed. The command language utilizes either function keys or a typewriter, and it is estimated that the computer requirements will be less than 3000 words of memory. |
