| Abstract | Tests have been conducted on a DC electric drive system with emphasis on obtaining efficiency data for the DC to DC thyristor control circuit and the DC drive motors. DC to DC converter efficiencies were between 80 and 93 percent over a typical operating range. Motor efficiencies ranged up to 62 percent over their operating range. |
