| Abstract | A 1:13.5 scale model was constructed of the test cell proposed in the DND Preliminary Design for a T56-A-14LFE Engine Test Facility Building. Flow visualization experiments carried out demonstrated that the proposed configuration should be satisfactory for engine testing with the flight propellor installed. The results also showed that the orifice plate in the plane of the propellor should not be required, even with 50% open sound attenuation at the cell inlet. |
