Abstract
Workshop One: Design in the 21st Century - The first workshop presented the major themes of design in the 21st century as well as exercises to understand the world around us as a designed environment. It considered Industrial Design, Concept Design, Systems Design, Transformation Design, Sustainable Design, Circular Economy Design, Design as a Social Movement, Service and Experiential Design, Generative Design and Information Design, with a focus on visualization.
