| Abstract | A rapid procedure for the determination of organic matter in suspension cultures is reported using dichromate oxidation and special apparatus; the method is suitable for routine determinations. Accurate results may be obtained in 30 min and the useful range is about 0.26 to 2.6 mg cells/ml. |
