| Abstract | A method for determining the scale thrust produced by a J-85 CAN 15 gas turbine is described in this report. Included are correction factors for deriving engine gross thrust. Calibration of a load cell, a device for measuring the scale thrust, and corrections for the load cell electrical offsets, test stand preload, and test cell aerodynamic effects are discussed. |
