| Abstract | The design, instrumentation and analysis techniques for bottom slamming experiments developed in IMD have been described. The measurements include vertical bow force, keel pressure, relative motion and rigid body motion. The results demonstrate viability and some of the limitations of these techniques. Possible areas of improvement for future research have been recommended. |
