| Abstract | In the period of 1976-1978, the Seakeeping Committee of the International Towing Tank Conference organized a comparative study of calculated ship motions and loads for a ship with six degrees of freedom. The first results of this study are presented in Reference 1. The details of the hull form and of the calculations required were too bulky to be included in Reference 1, and are the subject of this Report. It was the wish of the Committee that this information be made freely available to organisations or individuals who may wish to carry out, at some later date, comparisons between their own programs and the results given in Reference 1. |
