Abstract
The construction industry in Canada is one of the largest industries. The need to forecast its future course can, therefore, be hardly exaggerated. The paper reviews and evaluates various forecasting techniques which are currently being used to forecast construction activity in Canada, both at national and provincial levels. Relative strengths and weaknesses of these techniques are discussed.
