Abstract	Properly used and properly applied, bonding agents can ensure that concrete repairs have the strength of monolithically cast concrete. They come in two types: latex emulsions and epoxies, each with its particular advantages in given situations. Epoxy bonding agents are good for making sure that freshly placed concrete sticks to cured concrete. Latex bonding agents give, for example, stability where calcium ions abound. Thank goodness for a bonding agent suitable for overhead cement repairs.
