| Abstract | A literature review was conducted on advancements in the study of highway tank vehicle rollover for the period between 2002 and 2022. Publications covering accident analyses, vehicle models, and safety systems relevant to highway tank vehicles were examined and discussed. In addition, a scan was undertaken of select comparison jurisdictions worldwide for regulations and best practices relevant to highway tank vehicle rollover stability. Details of these regulations are provided, along with background information provided by participants in the respective regulatory processes. Gaps in the existing research are identified, and recommendations are made for future research. |
