Abstract
This report describes a fire that occurred at an apartment building at 393 Kennedy Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 10, 1990. The building was clad with an Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) which provides good thermal insulation and protection from moisture at a relatively low cost, however, such systems are combustible.
