| Abstract | We model the photocurrent of an A-scan in time-domain optical coherence tomography (OCT) as a non-stationary random process and obtain its statistics. We use this model to obtain a maximum likelihood estimate of the reflectivity at different depths of an object. We also present an expression for the Fisher information matrix in time-domain OCT. |
